(editor)
Description:
The Missa Amour au cueur was found in a choirbook in the Bavarian State Library in the same handwriting as most of the choirbooks it possesses. It is written for eight voices in two equal mixed choirs (SATB). The Agnus Dei however is written for 12 voices (double SSATTB).
The mass is a parody mass on a chanson with the same name by Jacob Clemens non Papa, published by Tielman Susato in Antwerp.
