Remarks: Alto sax sonata ‘You can’t stop what’s comin’ was commissioned by Femke Steketee & Tobias Borsboom in 2023, with financial support from the duo. The music came in to being in close collaboration with the musicians to which it is also dedicated. The world premiere took place at a saxophone festival in Tilburg on 23-9-2023. The CD recording was done in the same hall on November 27 2024 by Maarten Elzinga and released worldwide as an EP in the Spring of 2025.
