Breakwater Brass! : for brass band / Jobina Tinnemans
Description:
It is fifteen steps from my Harbour Village house to the cliff’s edge from where you can gaze across Fishguard Harbour into the far distance and watch the ferry setting off to Ireland. Sometimes the ferry hoots and a magnificent series of echoes travels round the harbour.
Breakwater Brass! is music for brass band that explores the fascinating textural quality of echoes, whether indoors, in a concert space, or outdoors, on a breakwater or any naturally reverberant environment.
