Tinnemans, Jobina (Composer)
Description:
In many traditions Salomé, daughter of Herodias and Herod II, is depicted, at worst, as a dangerous seductress and otherwise as foolish. In the New Testament she is a nameless girl, but throughout the centuries she has always ‘pleased Herod and his guests’ with her dancing.
What about Salomé herself?
Maybe she simply liked to dance. Feel the rhythm. The rest is noise.
