Description:
Based on speech grooves from Dr.Martin Luther King’s very last speech ‘Mountain Top'. King was a charismatic preacher and one of the greatest orators in American history, who dedicated his life
to the civil rights movement. Mountain Top is a timeless speech in which he calls for unity and nonviolent protest, while challenging the United States to live up to its ideals. The Mountain Top speech took place on April 4, 1968, a few hours before his death, which he apparently anticipated:
“We’ve got some difficult days ahead, but it really doesn’t matter with me now, because I’ve been to the mountain top. Longevity has its place. Like anybody I would like to live a long life, but I'm not concerned about that now.”
