Description:
Program note (English): The quick movements are lively and playful, the piano is treated as a 'motoric' instrument, often even as a percussion instrument; lyricism is only heard in the second movement. The form of the first movement resembles that of the pre-Mozart concerto. But, whilst in those baroque concertos generally the principal subject and its repeats are played by the whole ensemble and the episodes by the soloist, here both partners take part in the evolution of the musical ideas. The principal subject is mainly given to the soloist, after a few introductory bars of the orchestra. Two themes are alternating in the slow second movement, which conditions a complex binary form. The third movement has a rondo form.
