Description:
This work is a solo concert piece composed for organ. It begins with a four-note motivic cell that gradually unfolds, develops, and transforms into a variety of chromatic gestures throughout the piece. In the central section, the music reaches extreme registers and becomes increasingly agitated. The main theme is reiterated in the final section, where the left hand presents it, while the right hand's minor third ostinato patterns are gradually augmented until the piece concludes. Throughout, the intervallic minor third predominates, undergoing various transformations in its parameters, including pitch, rhythmic identity, and gestural expression.
