Description:
The text is from Psalm 86, verses 1–5. The piece serves as my spiritual vehicle praying for God and hoping that he listens to my call and helps. Throughout the course of the piece, the tonality swings between E and Eb as well as touching on Gb when approaching the end. Generally speaking, traditional harmonic contexts sometimes blend with mild dissonance for creating tensions at various points of the piece. Dramatic expression is highlighted by means of dynamics as well as registral contrasts.
