Remarks: Commissioned by the Dutch National Ballet. Choreography by Ernst Meisner and Marco Gerris. This two act ballet was written for a collaboration between classical dancers of the Dutch National Ballet and hiphop dancers of ISH Dance Collective. The ballet is based on a modern adaptation by choreographers Ernst Meisner (Dutch National Ballet) and Marco Gerris (ISH) of Oscar Wilde’s novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.
