Description:
The Three Rameau Pieces are free transcriptions by Joey Roukens of harpsichord pieces by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Roukens’ own Epilogue serves as a kind of homage to Rameau as a harmonist and author of the influential Traité de l’harmonie, recasting the preceding three pieces in a different light. The Three Rameau Pieces can be performed without the Epilogue.
