Description:
Souvenirs opus 49 is one of several single movement compositions I have written with the idea of creating short meaningful pieces which by their intensity and rich inner diversity give the illusion of much longer works. Written and premiered in 2008 it has since become popular with many violinists worldwide. Souvenirs was the set piece for the Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition 2014 (France).
