The world première took place on 14 July 2006 at Rolduc in Kerkrade (The Netherlands), performed by Ilonka Kolthof (piccolo, flute and alto flute), Lena La Mela (clarinet), Marijke Zijlstra (bassoon), Remon Holsbergen (keyboard), Rosa Arnold and Jolanda Streefkerk (violins), Annemijn Bergkotte (viola), Geneviève Verhage (violoncello), Nienke Kosters (contrabass), and Marijn Simons (conductor).
