The world première took place on 8 August 2004 at the Prinsenhof in Delft (The Netherlands), performed by Michael Collins (clarinet), Robin O’Neill (bassoon), Richard Watkins (horn), Isabelle van Keulen and Baiba Skride (violins), Rachel Roberts (viola), Quirine Viersen (violoncello), and Corin Long (contrabass).
