Description:
Program note (English): The title of this composition literally means 'beaten songs.' Written for piano (four hands) it has occasional percussive elements. In the first movement, Maestoso, majestic parts alternate with agitated, strongly rhythmical ones. The Andante con moto is very melodious, with an explosive middle part.
