Program note (English): It is possible to perform the Suite independently as an instrumental a whole, or performed in separate parts. As illustrative music for ballet or pantomime the parts can be played separately and in random order, and it also possible to utilize passages between the two double lines as accompaniment. The choice and the placement of these components depend on the kind of ballet or pantomime. According to the character and course of the work, the music must be adapted music closely, and consultation of all parties involved is desirable. If it is not feasible to use the instrumentation required, the possibility of choosing other instruments is allowed (for example two flutes and one clarinet instead of flute, oboe and clarinet etc.). For the percussion are all types of drums are used, except the large drum. The cymbals hang freely. - TON DE LEEUW
