Description:
Program note (English): In this work the chorus takes the position of the orchestra. There is no text, the chorus vocalises or hums. The composition starts with the chorus quasi-psalmodizing, interrupted by short piano cadenza's. The motive returns several times in different forms. The first dance is rather aggressive in character, in the use of the piano and percussion. In the course of the composition the eruptive elements of piano and percussion and the hymnal character of the chorus part get closer together. - JOCHEM SLOTHOUWER
