Remarks: Commissioned by Marion Causse, this work is based on my woodwind quintet ’Lo que vi en el agua’. It was premiered by Marion Causse on June 9, 2014, at Nutshuis, The Hague, Netherlands. This score presents the version for soprano flute and female voice. Other versions include one for soprano flute and male voice (written for and premiered by Maarten Reumkens) and one for alto flute (written for and premiered by Robin Meiksins). The work is dedicated to Marion Causse.
