Remarks: Originally, this piece was composed for clarinet, string quartet and piano, commissioned by the Roeland Hendrikx Ensemble. This arrangement for alto saxophone, string quartet and piano is dedicated to saxophonist Kurt Bertels. He created this Metamorphoses with the Desguin string quartet and Florestan Bataillie (piano). This ensemble made a video recording at AmuZ concert hall in Antwerp, Belgium in April 2021.
