Spectrum: Scenes from 'Play/Space' : for any instrument (open score: middle notation) / Wilma Pistorius
Description:
The title 'Spectrum' refers to a set of qualities that can vary across a continuum. It is a mapping of a range of psycho-visual sensations, from the "colours of the rainbow" to wavelengths that lie outside the visible light spectrum and inside the mind, in the field of intangible emotional perception. Spectrum contains 3 scenes: Pomegranate, Soot and Dawn grey. Each scene is a snapshot with a different colour, mood, intensity.
