Waha'yoo Winds : Nevadian images for alto flute and trombone / Jakub Polaczyk
Description:
Waha’yoo Winds is a piece written for the Duet Malgorzata Plominska and Dawid Mezyk – two Polish artists based in Nevada, Las Vegas. Unusual combinations of Flute and Trombone was an inspiration of the sonic journey. The piece is another work exploring the life and culture of Native Americans associated with Nevada transformed into my musical language. The piece uses some words from the Northern Paituate language.
