Description:
'Ancient Sequences' is based on rhythmic patterns and tetrachord-like figures, using ancient Greece as a source of inspiration. The tetrachord figures have different chromatic variations on the so-called movable tones (middle tones of a tetrachord). Irregular rhythmic cells are arranged in such a way as to lead to energetic figures. The heterophonic nature of this work also refers to the music of ancient Greece.
