Remarks: Roter Damm Verwandelt was written for an outdoor performance, and was premiered by the Doelenensemble, conducted by the composer, at the Westersingel in Rotterdam, September 20th, 2002. This performance was developed in collaboration with the (fashion) designer Peter George d’Angelino Tap, who also designed the musicians’ clothing. The project was live filmed by Pieter Jan Smit, his film Roter Damm Verwandelt premiered during the 2003 IFFR, International Film Festival Rotterdam.
