Description:
Jeroen D’hoe made an arrangement for string quartet of the first part of the Stabat Mater by Orlandus Lassus. Two elements play an important role in this: on the one hand, a rather literal transcription in different positions, and on the other, a contemplative fantasy, inspired by the central cadenza on the words ‘et dolentem’.
