Remarks: Written as a contribution to a music project based on the famous novel 'Cloud Atlas' by David Mitchell. Commissioned by Muziek Podium Zeeland (MPZ) for Nieuw Amsterdams Peil (NAP). First performance: January 17th 2008, Zeeuwse Concertzaal Middelburg by Nieuw Amsterdams Peil (NAP): Eline van Esch (flute), Arco van Zon (oboe), Lars Wouters van den Oudenweijer (clarinet), Heleen Hulst (violin), Jörg Brinkmann (cello) and Gerard Bouwhuis (piano). Live recording by Zefir Records, released on 1 September 2008 provided by NAXOS of America ℗.
