Description:
This piece is the musical expression of the Korean poem ‘Flower’ by Choon Soo Kim (1955). We all wish to become something to each other, something meaningful, unforgettable. In this poem, the relationship between the subject and the object starts off as meaningless at first, but throughout the process of identifying each other, both become meaningful to the other. That is, they become a ‘flower’ to each other, and finally something unforgettable for both. The theme of this poem is the desire for a truly meaningful relationship. In this composition, I wanted to express the poetic beauty of the process during which someone becomes meaningful to another person.
