MBDCCC : for carillon / Douwe Eisenga
Description:
Written for the celebration of 800 years city rights of Middelburg (NL) in 2017. The title of the piece refers directly to the festivities. During 2017 the music sounded five times a day over the city, played by the carillion of the Abbey Tower, starting in January with only a few seconds, growing every month a bit longer until the final stage was reached in December.
Many thanks to Janno Den Engelsman.
