Air Mechanics : for ensemble / Alla Zagaykevych
Description:
Air Mechanics is based on the idea of using the phenomenon of movement of air masses in the atmosphere of the Earth as metaphorical ‘model’ for the development of the algorithmic system, applied to the rhythmic structure of the work.
The different trajectories of micro-motives of materials of the work (‘static’ or ‘dynamic’, ‘ascending’ or ‘descending’) organize inconsistent melodic linear structures, and at the same time - melt the polyphonic texture of the work.
