Description:
Program note (English): The idea of the piece is partly related to its title Apertures, which means gaps or openings. I imagined different sizes of apertures where sharpness and bluntness are modulated, apertures where sharpness and bluntness are modulated, apertures of varying durations where the sense of time is manipulated, and closed states where anticipation is develloped. In contrast to optics, where the size of the aperture limits the amount of light through a hole for a limited duration, I imagined such limitations in both sound and form. - EINAR TORFI EINARSSON
