Description:
Program note (English): The first movement long, descending, melodious lines by the viola set the tone. The second theme makes a change, dynamically. After several peaks it ends peacefully. The second part hurries on, in irregular rhythms. The third part is a combination of a slow movement and a wild finale, after which a short, fast coda leads to the end. - JOCHEM SLOTHOUWER AND ANNETTE DE KLERK
