Description:
Program note (English): I use the city of Utrecht as a sound source. One day long I made recordings of the city, which I then translated into orchestral sounds. Because of this I could develop a new concept for the use of microtonality and noises. Then I found that these city sounds missed drama. Therefore I transformed the orchestral sounds musically, while I processed the taped sounds of the city in an electronic studio. - LARS SKOGLUND
