Description:
Program note (English): This piece has two dynamic parts, Danza 1 and Danza 2, and two parts that are more static: Intrada and Canti Sereni. The composition is based on the germ cell technique, in which short melodious en rhythmic motives serve as building blocks for larger structures. In the slow part this procedure results in a canon-like tapestry in which five voices are interwoven. This part is an elegy for composer Tera de Marez Oyens, who died in 1996.
