Description:
Program note (English): On cd-r NEAR 0073. In this work for tape I have used - among other acoustical sources - a composition for organ, entitled Stilval (1995). I manipulated elements from a recording of Stilval, using predominantly Pro Tools. The title of my tape work - Register - is an allusion to the use of this organ work. Simutaneously, the title alludes to my effort to trace back fragments of early memories. To a certain extent this piece can be considered as a registration of my past. - BART SPAAN
