Disegni per corde e marimba : for strings and marimba, 2000, revision 2000 / Ig Henneman
Description:
Program note (English): Disegni per corde e marimba (Figures for strings and marimba) is a sequel to Righe per corde (Lines for strings) for harp, two violas and violoncello. While Righe per corde is static, severe and slow in spite of a single upswing, and remains that way throughout, Disegni per corde e marimba begins lively. The lines have become figures. However, as the piece progresses the simple, severe character of the lines appear again and get the upperhand.
Disegni per corde e marimba can be performed separately as an independant piece or as a sequel to Righe per corde. - IG HENNEMAN
