Born in 1971, he studied, after being graduated in composition with Gilberto Bosco in the Conservatory of Turin, with Fabio Nieder and Luca Francesconi. During this period he enjoyed a scholarship for Composition from the Association for Music DE SONO of Turin. He also attended masterclasses with Luis De Pablo, Toshio Hosokawa, Brice Pauset, Joshua Fineberg.
His composition received prizes and mentions in many composition contests and his music was performed in italian and international festivals such as MITO Settembre Musica, Settimane Musicali di Stresa, Seattle Chamber Players Season, Muziekgebouw Aan’t Ij Amsterdam, Moscow Forum Festival, Musica Nova Helsinki.
Several ensembles and soloists played his compositions as BIT20 Ensemble, Atlas Ensemble, Seattle Chamber Players, Wu Wei, Michele Marelli, Ernest Rombout, Ciro Longobardi, Xenia Ensemble, Alfonso Alberti, among the others.
In 2009 he joined the Centre for the Electronic Music Research AGON Arsmagnetica invited by Luca Francesconi.
Some of his compositions was broadcasted by the Italian National Radio RadioRAI3, the Slovenian Radio Television, Radio4 Holland and Yle Radio1 Helsinki. He teaches composition in the Scuola Civica of Turin and music analysis in the Accademia di Musica of Pinerolo (Turin).
