Onno Krijn (1957) majored in both composition and piano at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, with Ton de Leeuw and Edith Lateiner. At the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, he followed advanced arranging classes under Manny Albam, Bill Dobbins, and Prof. Ray Wright.
OK is a versatile musician: He composes and produces art-music, film-music, music for the theatre and pop-music. On his lable NOON-records we find collaboration-projects with a host of musicians from the worldmusic-scene. As arranger, he wrote countless orchestrations and arrangements for renowned artists and various orchestras, among which we find Lionel Richie, Janka Rupkina, Dutch pop-diva Anouk and many others. His interest in world music stems from a young age, and can be heard throughout his work.
