Henk Klop (1946) studied organ, piano and oboe at the Rotterdam Conservatory and in 1969 received his organ soloist diploma with honors. After studying with Jean Langlais, organist of St. Clotilde in Paris, he won the 1971 'Prix de Virtuosité 'for interpretation and improvisation at the Schola Cantorum in Paris with honors. In 1972 Henk Klop acquired the 'Prix d 'Excellence' in Rotterdam.
He gave concerts at home and also abroad. He made CD recordings and recorded radio concerts. His compositions were performed by various artists, such as bass Robert Holl and the NCRV Vocal Ensemble.
Henk Klop was working as a painter as well.
