composer

Gimenez, Gonzalo Gabriel

Over my music: I am an Argentinian composer living and working in The Hague, the Netherlands. Music, for me, is poetry. The human soul has no limit, is infinite, and the poetry is its reflect, is the perfume of that infinite flower who comes throw us. This is, for me, the music. It is not possible from this perspective, to define my music and any other music. Because music speaks for itself, and definitions are just limits that we impose to the things, creating barriers to the understanding.

From 1996 to 2002 he studied tonal harmony, counterpoint, audio perceptual, analysis, instrumentation, instrumental analysis, techniques of the twentieth century, orchestration and composition with Maestro Santiago Santero.
